Ice Pond

In January of 2014, CNLT closed on a deal to purchase 42 acres encompassing woodlands, wetlands, and undisturbed wildlife habitat, along with some walking trails located throughout. We have named it “The Ice Pond” Property in honor of the pond located on it, which once provided ice for individuals living in this area.

Situated near the Pettengill Preserve and the Old Pond Railway Trail, the Ice Pond Property is part of our overall vision of conservation in the area and fits perfectly with our mission of providing as many opportunities as possible for people to get out onto the land while also preserving corridors of undeveloped land for wildlife habitat.

Look for trails to be opened to the public in the spring of 2016.
