What a winter! Yesterday’s storm dumped over a foot of powder on downeast Maine…and the cold temperatures are going to make sure it sticks around. We hope everyone is finished shoveling and now has some time to go enjoy!

Several inches of fluffy snow fell yesterday! Our trails are looking particularly beautiful right now, and many are waiting for first tracks 🤗❄️

Mowing of the Ball Field Preserve was completed last week and the property looks great! This big mower flail (very low) cut in late fall along with a natural sulphur application in the spring is part of our blueberry field management plan. The hope is to encourage bountiful fruit year after year for the public to pick and enjoy with friends and family. 🫐
November brings crisp air, bright blue skies, and long evening shadows. As you head out to enjoy, please remember that hunting season is upon us and everyone (including furry friends!) should be wearing blaze orange in the woods. Firearms season runs through November29th. Happy trails!🔶🐾🔶
