Become a Steward
Do you like being outside, walking along a trail or through a field? If you do, consider becoming a CNLT steward. Stewards help CNLT care for our properties by walking a property at least once a year to insure that it is in good condition. If the property is a new acquisition or easement, stewards might help in gathering information for baseline records which includes taking photos and written notes regarding the condition of the property. Stewards help CNLT maintain the property for the benefit of wildlife habitat and public use. For more information, contact Josh Ferris at stewardship@crabtreenecklandtrust.org

Create & Maintain Trails
Do you enjoy being outdoors working with your hands? Occasionally CNLT needs to create trails on its properties. This might entail building bridges, cutting trails through vegetation, slowing erosion, or simply removing fallen trees and branches. If you are interested in helping us create/maintain trails please contact Josh Ferris at stewardship@crabtreenecklandtrust.org

Lead a Walk
CNLT is always looking for individuals who are interested in being outdoors and sharing their love of nature with others. If you have a love for bird watching, plant identification, discovering wildlife markings, or any other appreciation/knowledge concerning the outdoors, consider leading a walk on one of our properties. For more information please contact info@crabtreenecklandtrust.org
