Visitor Guidelines

Thank you for your stewardship and care of CNLT land for all to experience and enjoy. Please help protect the land by observing the following guidelines:

  • Practice “carry in/carry out” with your garbage and leave no trace.
  • Please stay on or near the trail and avoid stepping on fragile moss and lichen off the trail.
  • Do not remove living plants.
  • Do not feed or disturb wildlife.
  • Please respect neighboring private property.
  • Fires, camping, ATVs and snowmobiles are not allowed.
  • Please be aware; we don’t encourage hunting on CNLT properties, but we don’t forbid it. During hunting season be careful and wear blaze orange.

Bring Your Dog

CNLT welcomes you and your dogs!

  • Please clean up after your dog. Waste contaminates water and can spread disease to wildlife and humans.
  • Please keep your dog under voice control or on a leash. Even playful dogs can be intimidating to adults and especially children. We want everyone to feel welcome and safe on our land.
  • Share a photo of your dog enjoying the trails via Instagram or Facebook!
